Privacy Notice
Who we are
DRB Team Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company registration number 13739666. Registered office: Hova House, 1 Hova Villas, Brighton & Hove, BN3 3DH, United Kingdom.
Privacy contact: support@light2body.com.
This notice covers this website, purchases of Your Ultimate Hook Library, product delivery, customer support, and licence verification. Our other websites (light2body.com and light2body.hu) have their own privacy policy, because they use different services, such as website analytics.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to sell, deliver and support the Product.
- Card details are entered on Stripe's payment page. We never see or store your full card number.
- This website uses no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
- The Hook Library itself makes no network requests and sends us nothing. Your favorites stay in your own browser.
- We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details: your name and email address, and the organisation name if you buy for a business.
- Billing and tax information: billing address or country, tax ID if you provide one, and the tax applied. This is collected by Stripe at checkout.
- Order records: order and payment identifiers, the package bought, amount paid, date and time.
- Checkout confirmations: a reference showing which confirmations you ticked before checkout (agreement to our terms, immediate-delivery consent and, for Resell Rights, the reseller acknowledgement), and the document versions that applied.
- Delivery records: when your purchase email and download link were sent, and whether the email was delivered and opened.
- Support correspondence: the messages you send us and our replies.
- Technical data: our website host may briefly process your IP address and browser information in server logs to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
We do not collect special category data. Please don't send it to us in support messages.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Taking payment, delivering the Product and licence documents, issuing your licence | Performance of a contract with you |
| Recording checkout confirmations, licence records and cancellation or refund handling | Legal obligation (consumer law) and our legitimate interest in being able to show what was agreed |
| Keeping tax and accounting records | Legal obligation |
| Answering support requests and complaints | Performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in helping people who contact us |
| Verifying a Resell Rights licence when there is a specific concern about unauthorised resale | Our legitimate interest in protecting our intellectual property and genuine licence holders |
| Preventing fraud and keeping the website secure | Our legitimate interest in running a secure business |
| Product news and offers by email | Your consent only, and only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time. |
Providing your name, email and billing details is necessary to buy. Without them we cannot complete or deliver the order.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers:
- Stripe (payments, fraud prevention and tax calculation). Stripe also acts as an independent controller for some purposes, such as fraud prevention and meeting its own legal obligations. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Netlify (website hosting).
- MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ireland), which sends purchase emails and download links, together with the automation service that passes your order details from Stripe to MailerLite.
- Our email hosting provider, for support emails.
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not publish buyer identities. Having a copy of a licence certificate does not entitle anyone to your personal details.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. Contact us for more information.
How long we keep it
- Order, tax and accounting records: 6 years from the end of the financial year in which the purchase took place.
- Licence and checkout confirmation records: for as long as the licence exists, and for 6 years after it ends.
- Support correspondence: 3 years after the conversation ends.
- Marketing consent and unsubscribe records: while you are subscribed. We keep a minimal suppression record after you unsubscribe, so we don't email you again.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- correct it;
- have it erased;
- restrict how it is used;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time.
Some rights have legal limits. For example, we must keep tax records even if you ask for erasure. To use your rights, email support@light2body.com. We will reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in the country where you live (in Hungary: NAIH, naih.hu). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
The Hook Library and your device
The Product is a single offline HTML file. It makes no network requests and contains no analytics or tracking. Your favorites are stored only in your browser's local storage on your device, as hook IDs. We cannot see them, and they are deleted when you clear your browser data.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Stripe may use automated fraud screening when processing payments.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
